1 Overall situation at present
There are 289 biochemical pharmaceutical factories and 29 000 working personnel in China at present. There are 700 kinds of products approximately (including biochemical substances and their preparations), among which 97 kinds are included in Chinese Pharmacopeia(Edition 2000), 103 are included in National Standards [a part of them are included in Chinese Pharmacopeia(Edition 200)], 469 in Local Standards and most of them are absorbed in National Standards after the arrangement. The total value of biochemical pharmaceutical products has reached 11 billion yuan and the value of export delivery has reached 100 million US$. From 1996 ...
