Jul. 6--San Antonio doesn't always score well in national business studies. Labor Department figures last year showed the city's average salaries were growing, but not as fast as in other Texas cities. In April, San Antonio ranked 49th out of 50 metro areas in technology.
But a new study to be released next week will finally give San Antonio business community something to brag about.
The National Commission on Entrepreneurship ranked San Antonio in the top 10 percent of the country's regions in terms of rate of fast-growing companies. Using Census Bureau data, the ...
