Remember the good ol' days when "Please, mister, can I have your autograph?" was all it took to get a ballplayer to sign your scorecard?
Once the innocent rite of childhood, autograph collecting has turned into a multibillion-dollar industry. So beware of the elbows this weekend as you go after your favorite signatures.
The All-Star Game and festivities are a mecca for fans seeking John Hancocks, from Hall-of-Famer Lou Brock to Alvin "Mr. Mariner" Davis to Pearl Jam bass player Jeff Ament.
