SAN JOSE, Calif., July 9 /PRNewswire/ --
Two industry-leading organizations today announced that they are joining forces to ensure that standards and best practices for Distributed Resource Management (DRM) and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) computing will be homogenous throughout the world. As a result of this agreement, the New Productivity Initiative (NPI) and the Peer-to-Peer Working Group (P2PWG), both established in the fourth quarter of 2000, will become members of each other's respective organizations.
