The color chartreuse is the essence of spring. It is at this time of year when you can best appreciate the beauty of lime-green in the landscape. Everything is fresh, healthy and full of promise.
Chartreuse blends green and yellow, but can range from lime green, sulfur yellow, canary, butter to cream.
Much like using gray in the garden, chartreuse works as a color enhancer. Almost any flowering plant placed next to it looks twice as good. Chartreuse can make the entire garden come alive.
