LEMONT, ILL. -- This is shaping up to be a Western worthy of being shown in black-and-white.
With one round to go, this 98th Western Open has an old-fashioned shootout brewing. All that seems to be missing are dust-covered fairways (a 2-hour rain delay Saturday took care of that), tumbleweeds bounding across the greens and John Wayne booming 3-woods off the tees at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club.
As it is, this intriguing PGA Tour event has a strong frontrunner in Davis Love III. He walks like an equestrian and threatened to ride off into the sunset Saturday blazing a trail that'd be tough to follow.
