SPSS Inc has released Linux and Solaris versions of its SPSS Data Entry server for conducting surveys whether online, by mail or over the phone.

The new OS support is part of a general upgrade of Data Entry to version 3.0, which uses a gussied-up architecture to speed processing time and boost web performance. It's the first time SPSS has offered any Linux software.
