Struggling Internet postage and shipping services provider E-Stamp lost $23.7 million (63 cents) on revenues of $1.8 million in Q3.

Excluding charges, the Mountain View, California start-up lost $18.9 million (50 cents) beating the Street's forecast by three cents. In the year-ago period, the company reported a loss of $15.2 million (43 cents) on revenues of $358,000.

E-Stamp has managed to bring down its losses by $4.5 million over the previous quarter when it lost $28.1 million (71 cents) on revenues of $1.6 million.
