SYDNEY, July 10 Asia Pulse - Tempo Services Ltd (ASX:TEM) has acquired its major rival Prestige Property Services Pty Ltd to form the countries largest cleaning company.
"We take the only other national operator out of the market, other than Spotless (Group Ltd), and it changes the industry," Tempo founder and executive chairman John Schaeffer told journalists.
"It makes us by far the strongest operator in the market and one of the top 20 employers in the country."
Prestige, Australia's third largest cleaning company, generates more than $A125 million ($US63.32 million) per year and has more than 4000 employees.
