Standard & Poor's today affirmed its triple-'A' financial strength ratings on the members of State Farm Property/Casualty Insurance Group (State Farm) and the State Farm Life Insurance Co. (State Farm Life). The outlook is negative.
State Farm is the largest personal lines insurer in the world and does business in the U.S. and Canada. State Farm Life is a subsidiary of State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co., State Farm's parent and largest operating unit. State Farm Life primarily writes individual life insurance and annuities, mainly for customers of State Farm.
