One might suppose that serving as U.S. Secretary of Commerce for President Bill Clinton and as campaign manager for Vice President Al Gore would give William Daley a leg up on finding a nice apartment in New York City.
He's been searching for weeks, since becoming a partner in April at private investment bank Evercore Partners Inc.
