No, really, I'd love to get in on the stock car-racing craze, but I've made plans to stick needles in my eyes instead.
Don't want to sound _ you should pardon the expression _ petty, but for a generation of gnarled, cynical Northeastern Baby Boomers, raised on baseball, basketball and public transportation, NASCAR is a mystery akin to the popularity of "The O'Reilly Factor".
It is just the latest, most blatant example of the growing Country-fication of America.
