CINCINNATI _ There's nothing Eddie Taubensee can do about it, but going into the Indians' game Friday night against the Reds, the score is 23-2.
Since Taubensee's last start behind the plate, Einar Diaz has caught 23 games, Tim Laker two.
Taubensee, the Tribe's backup catcher, has been on the disabled list with an infection in his liver since mid-June. He was sick several days before that, but he tried to keep playing. Now that he finally has his strength back, he can see his return coming soon.
