During the meeting of the e-Business Club in Buenos Aires city, Jorge Becerra consultant of the Boston Consulting Group said that although retail e-business in Latin America is small it is growing fast. Retail transactions via Internet generated Pesos $82mil last year, seven times more than in 1999. Brazil turned over $300mil and Mexico $91mil only. Argentina's B2B is lead by auctions said Becerra. The e-business Club is formed by IBM, EMC2, Entrust, Cisco Systems, La Nacion, Sun Microsystems, Microsoft, People Soft and Telecom.
