WASHINGTON--With both sides talking, a resolution to the interference problems between commercial and public-safety entities using the 800 MHz band could eventually be reached--but not easily, and probably not quickly.
The two sides seek to avoid FCC intervention and a potential regulatory mandate, a prospect that is unappealing to all involved.
