Jul. 15--Both BT Wireless and Orange announced their mobile subscriber numbers for the second quarter last week.
It was clearly good news for Orange. BT has now removed dormant subscriber numbers (inactive mobile accounts) from its figures bringing its accounting procedures in line with Orange and Vodafone and allowing for direct comparisons for the first time.
Orange attracted almost three times as many new subscribers to its network in the UK than number one provider, Vodafone. It is now the fastest growing UK provider and, with more than 11 million subscribers, is officially ...
