Many new parents, while comfortable with their child's progress and normal growth and development, wonder how they will be able to tell when their child is ill.
The answer is, simply, for most parents, "You will know!" Parental instincts, while not measurable, are very strong. And they are helped considerably by the simple fact that children cannot dissimilate. That is, they cannot look sick and be well, nor can they look well and be sick.
