In what amounts to the latest skirmish in the escalating trade show wars, George Little Management is moving into territory long dominated by AmericasMart Atlanta. GLM plans to stage its first Gift Fair in Atlanta in July 2002 at the Georgia World Congress Center in partnership with Atlanta-based Urban Expositions.
"Key players in the industry have encouraged us to produce a temporary market in Atlanta," said Doug Miller, president of Urban Expositions. "Through this partnership, we feel that our two companies can positively impact the demand in the southeastern gift and decorative accessories market."
