Jul. 19--Advertising agency group Cordiant today finally clinched its long-awaited deal to pool its media buying assets with those of French rival Publicis.
The new holding company NewCo, which will be based in London, could be floated on the Stock Exchange within two to three years, according to Cordiant chief executive Michael Bungey.
He said the deal, which was first mooted a year ago, put a minimum value of UKpound 75 million on Cordiant's 50 percent stake in media buying agency Zenith. Publicis, which inherited the other half of Zenith when it bought Saatchi & Saatchi last year, ...
