WHEN I WAS ASKED to accompany Jon Corner and Caswell Berry on a trip to Venezuela, I was pretty excited. I looked on the map and saw it right there next to Columbia. Sketchy. We were going out to Caracas to do a demo at the new Aero Skatepark....or I guess they were going there to do a demo and I was there to tag along. I didn't know too much about Caracas except for it was the capital city of Venezuela. I heard if you are a gringo you better watch your back. But my friend Carlos was born in Caracas and he looks like a white dude so I figured I would fit in with my uncombed brown hair and scraggly beard. Jon Comer and Caswell Berry on the other hand...straight out of Texas ...
