Safety Issues Apply Online, Too
THE RISK OF chemical "cyberattacks" increases as the volume of online transactions gets bigger, industry sources say. Safeguarding e-business initiatives is a Responsible Care issue, especially as the volume of e-business grows and companies enhance and expand their online efforts, some chemical companies say. "No one is bulletproof when it comes to cyber-hackers," says John Seral, CIO at GE Plastics. "You just try to stay ahead, learn, and keep raising the standards bar."
