In the highly competitive specialty coffee industry, New Orleans, LA-based PJ's Coffee & Tea has been boosting its presence in the Southeast, adding new franchise stores and re-entering supermarkets with a branded coffee line, according to Gourmet News (June 4). This month, the specialty coffee retailer is going to market with two bottled products, PJ's Iced Coffee and Mocha.
The company, which has the majority of its 30-plus stores in Louisiana, has branched out into Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, Alabama and Mississippi. PJ's also has four franchise stores in San Diego, CA, and operates the coffee concession at San Diego's QualComm Stadium. In the ...
