BACK ROOM TO SELL ASSETS FOR $127,000
NEW YORK (FNS) -- Leonard Duberman, Inc., a women's and children's apparel retailer trading as the Back Room in Westwood, N.J., has agreed to sell its assets to a company formed by Lawrence Buxbaum, original owner of the store, for $127,000.
Representatives of Buxbaum met with major unsecured creditors here this week to discuss the Back Room's financial problems (DNR, June 1, Page 10). Buxbaum plans to put new money into the store and continue operating it, according to Ronald Itzler, attorney for Buxbaum. Itzler said Buxbaum, the ...
