COURT RULES AGAINST NUTRI/SYSTEM, INC. IN WEIGHT WATCHERS CASE
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The H.J. Heinz Co. (NYSE: HNZ) and its subsidiary, Weight Watchers International, wish to put on record their satisfaction that the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas has ruled against Nutri/System, Inc. in denying them their request for special injunctive relief without an evidentiary hearing in the case of Nutri/System, Inc., H.J. Heinz Co., Weight Watchers and Jean Bakken.
Judge Richard S. Lowe found that there was insufficient evidence before him to justify such extraordinary relief.
