It's the home of donkey rides, end of pier shows and silly kiss-me-quick hats - but Blackpool could soon become the Las Vegas of the North.
Plans for the biggest shake-up of Britain's gambling laws in 30 years have just been unveiled.
And if the changes to relax the rules suggested by a Government-commissioned review go ahead, Blackpool is planning to build five or six new casino hotels along its famous golden mile offering 24 hour gambling.
