ORLANDO New York-based Loews Hotels may seem to be building opportunistically in a down market, but a closer look reveals the company is executing a series of objectives created over time.

In its most focused development at a single site, Loews is building the Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando adjacent to a theme park that has emerged as a competitor to Disney World.
