Digital music distribution services have gained a spot on econtent companies' most wanted lists this year. Ever under the watchful eye of the RIAA, companies are still jockeying for position in the musical distribution market. During the past few weeks, the RIAA had filed another suit against a digital music sharing service, and media giants Bertelsmann and Vivendi Universal have made digital music services mergers and acquisitions that are worth multiple millions of dollars.
