Editor's note: Seventy-one members of the Metropolis Youth Symphony and their chaperones have been visiting and performing in Transylvania and Hungary. This is a report on their tour, written by their director.
PRAGUE, Czech Republic - I am in the lead bus of a caravan of three and have just passed through the border checkpoint of Kuty, Slovakia, into the Czech Republic when the cell phone rings.
Owing to the very high cost of cell phone usage between several nations in Eastern Europe, this could only be a problem.
