The Puerto Ventanas port's new owners (Sigdo Koppers and investment companies created by former Gener executives) decided to maintain its structure and businesses. The port's new owners purchased a 66.3% stake in it from AESGener and announced that within the next 12 months they will not merge, restructure or liquidate Puerto Ventanas.
