Jul. 25--McDATA TO OFFER NEW WARES: Broomfield-based McData Corp. said Tuesday it is entering the storage-management software market. McData makes computer switches that enable multiple servers to connect to the same data storage drives and libraries. This setup of storage devices, servers and switches is called a storage area network, or SAN. The company's new software will help simplify the installation, management and expansion of SANs.
