A psychiatrist who surrendered his medical license two years ago amid accusations he used drugs and hypnosis to convince a Glen Ellyn family they were involved in Satanism and cannibalism said Wednesday he never will return to Illinois to practice medicine.
But Dr. Bennett Braun, who could be eligible to regain his license in October, did not close the door on a return to medicine in another state some day. And he hasn't kept away from hospitals.
