OAKLAND_Gil Heredia calls it his fourth-best pitch, and it has caused him loads of trouble this season.

Heredia threw it anyway. When Minnesota's Tom Prince saw it coming with two on and two out in the fourth inning Thursday, the result was not shocking.

Prince belted a three-run homer and Heredia took over the American League lead in homers allowed as the A's lost consecutive games for the first time in a month, dropping a 7-4 decision to the Twins at Network Associates Coliseum.
