Jul. 26--NASHUA, N.H.--Over the next two months, Sanmina Corp. will close its circuit board manufacturing plant at 41 Simon St. and lay off the 230 workers employed there, according to company officials.
"The board business has dropped significantly with the world economy going the direction that is," according to Carmen Renzulli, Sanmina's vice president of human resources.
Because there wasn't a lot of work coming in, it didn't make sense from a business perspective to keep the plant open, he said.
