THE concept of fast food barely exists in Mediterranean countries. They don't believe in rushing one of life's greatest enjoyments?
Eating is something our neighbours in southern Europe will always do at their leisure.
Not for them a snatched meal at a desk or a hasty snack on the go. Shops close in the afternoons, people come home from work and an hour or three is given over to a long, relaxed lunch.
