Insurer Backs Theatre Company
Chubb LifeAmerica and The Geese Theatre Company joined forces last week to establish a one-week theater residency program at the Anna Philbrook Center for Youth in Concord, N.H.
The Concord-based insurer and the Spofford, N.H., non-profit touring theater company that works exclusively in prisons, designed "The Strength Program" specifically for the New Hampshire "troubled youth" facility.
During the program, the theater group worked for four days with the center's juveniles, runaways and emotionally-disturbed youth. At the end of the residency, the youth performed an original play based on their lives, according to ...
