AMSTERDAM, Netherlands, July 30 /PRNewswire/ --
Shell Hydrogen announced today that its chief executive officer, Don Huberts, was elected chairman of the California Fuel Cell Partnership (Partnership) for 2002. Huberts will replace Dr. Ferdinand Panik, senior vice president of fuel cells at DaimlerChrysler, whose term as chairman will expire at the end of 2001.
The Partnership is a collaboration of fuel providers, auto companies, fuel cell technology companies and government agencies. It plans to demonstrate more than 70 fuel cell-powered cars and buses in California by 2003, seeking to demonstrate the potential of this new technology as a safe, ...
