Altris Software, Inc. (OTCBB: ALTS), a leading provider of integrated document and configuration management solutions for eBusiness, today announced plans to change its name to Spescom Software Inc. The name change, which brings the Company's name in line with its parent brand, has been approved by the Company's board of directors and is subject to final approval by shareholders at the annual meeting to be held later this year. The effective date of the change is planned for October 1, 2001.
