Univision Communications Inc. (NYSE:UVN), the leading Spanish-language media company in the United States, announced today that it has selected `Telefutura' from among hundreds of entries by Univision Communications employees as the name of its new Spanish-language network.

Telefutura will launch in January 2002 as the nation's third Spanish-language Network and the first non-traditional Spanish-language Network in the United States.
