WASHINGTON _ Information Superhighway travelers may encounter stop and go traffic as the Code Red computer worm attacks the Internet again.
Despite a highly publicized push for users to install a free protective patch, hundreds of thousands of computer servers remain vulnerable to two variations of the computer-vandalizing worm, security experts said Tuesday.
If vulnerable Web sites are infected and stalled by the worm, it's likely to cause a traffic jam among Internet users that worsens through the day.
