Delphi to open plastic molding plant in Ohio
DETROIT - Delphi Automotive Systems Corp. of Troy, Mich., said its Packard Electric Division will open a plastic molding plant in Vienna Township, Ohio, to make electrical connectors.
Delphi said it would spend about $58.5 million on the project, which includes the cost of construction and 120 plastic injection molding machines. The plant is expected to have about 180 employees, and construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2003.
