When one looks at the various analyses of Shakespeare's plays, there is a fair amount of discussion regarding the role of women. This often includes whether or nor a woman was virtuous. Most people assume that virtue applies only to being chaste/virginal. However, there were other virtues that were credited to a virtuous woman.
