More than 140 higher-wage jobs are coming to Sarasota County in the next year, and the area's quality of life earns much of the credit. Relocations by Comdial Corporation and Boar's Head Provisions Co., Inc. are two recent examples of the community's draw as a corporate headquarters location.
Sarasota County's expanding technology industry took another step forward this spring with the relocation of Comdial Corporation's corporate headquarters from Charlottesville, Virginia. The move will create 100 new local jobs that pay more than the county's average wage.
