For the next month, drivers will not be able to use County Farm Road as a through-street near the DuPage County government center in Wheaton.
That section of the major north-south artery near the Union Pacific railroad tracks will be closed until Aug. 29 as workers do sensitive bridge work for the underpass being constructed under the train tracks.
Chuck Tokarski, director of the DuPage County Division of Transportation, said the posted detour will direct southbound traffic along a route following Roosevelt Road, Route 59 and Geneva Road.
