Aug. 2--CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa--American Eagle Airlines is increasing its number of flights between The Eastern Iowa Airport and Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.
The regional affiliate of American Airlines on Wednesday said it will add a round-trip flight between Cedar Rapids and Chicago beginning Sept. 5. That would bring the total number of round-trip American Eagle flights to five each day.
The additional flights will use 37-seat Embraer ERJ-135 and 50-seat ERJ-145 regional jets. A majority of the flights will use the larger aircraft.
