NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. _ Former basketball star Dennis Rodman was cited Friday afternoon for speeding in his boat in Newport Harbor.
The sheriff's Harbor Patrol responded after at least three people complained that Rodman was driving his 47-foot- long power boat, Sexual Chocolate, too fast near the Lido Isle Yacht Club, Sgt. John Whitman said.
Rodman docked his boat at Josh Slocum's, a restaurant he co-owns, and was cited inside at 2:47 p.m., Whitman said. Rodman, who had six passengers aboard, was traveling more than 20 mph in a 5-mph zone, Whitman said.
