HOME INFO ONLINE SPURS PRIVACY FEARS.(COMMUNITIES)

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Many municipalities around the state have rushed to put public information on the Internet, causing privacy advocates and residents to worry that anyone can access personal records with the click of a mouse.

Assessors have begun putting photos and information about homes in Wisconsin online, noting they are all a matter of public record and their presence on the Internet saves money and time for both the government and taxpayers.

But some residents are concerned about information being easily accessible to anyone with a computer.
