WASHINGTON--Raytheon [RTN] and its partners ITT [ITT], Motorola [MOT] and Science Application International Corp. (SAIC) plan to maintain their alliance throughout the next, possibly $3 billion phase of the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) program, according to company executives.
JTRS is a family of software programmable communications systems that has significant cross-service application currently under the management of Army and Air Force developers.
