The name Miklos Rozsa (1907-1995) is probably more familiar to readers as a composer of film scores than of classical music. He did movies such as The Thief of Bagdad (1940), Jungle Book (1942), Spellbound (1945), Ben-Hur (1959), El Cid (1961), and The Golden Voyage of Sinbad (1974).
