BEIJING, Aug 6 Asia Pulse - Chang'an Motor Corp., China's biggest mini-vehicle manufacturer, will not merge with any other big player in the industry over the next ten years, according to a top executive with the company.
Yin Jiaxu, president of Chang'an Motor, said recently, "the company would seek further cooperation with its foreign partners rather than acquisition by domestic counterparts."
Yin's remarks followed a merger agreement signed on July 19 by the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp (SAIC) - one of China's top three automakers - and the Wuling Motor, another mini-vehicle producer based in Liuzhou City in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. ...
