The Ministry of Land Resources has made an introduction to the "National Program of Mineral Resources", the first national outline of mineral resources in China. In the programmatic document concerning the exploration, development and utilization of mineral resources, crude oil and natural gas are placed in an important position in the all-round exploration and development in eastern, central and western regions, as well as in offshore and onshore areas.
